He had served as teacher in several Government schools before retiring and turning into a full-time novelist in the popular weeklies in Malayalam. He took his degree in history from Kerala University in 1972. He did his schooling from MT Seminary High school and Good shepherd school. He was born to Rachel and in house in Malloossery.
